Thule Testing Center

When you visit the Thule Test Center™, you'll probably think we can't stand what we produce. After all, you will see a very pleased engineer pressing the start button of the stand, which simulates a two-time round-the-world trip of a bicycle towing trailer, overloaded twice. Or a gleefully smiling technician testing a bike carrier on a roof in unprecedented heat, cold, ultraviolet radiation, humidity, and to complete the picture, also extremely harmful chemicals. Or an engineer who couldn't think of anything better than loading a skid-mounted roof container, and then trying to crash it - over 100 crash tests in a year!
Safety First

Everything that you could see with your own eyes is done to fulfill the main task of the company Thule - ensuring the safety of you personally and those around you. Wear resistance and product quality are also important, but we maintain security at the highest level through comprehensive and rigorous laboratory tests. We would like to emphasize that we have developed a special testing program for Thule test Program™ which includes 25 "Thule Standards" that go far beyond the current ISO standard.

Extreme testing

Before the Thule logo appears on the product, it is subjected to extreme testing in the Thule Test Center™. This means testing for the effects of any conditions − desert heat, arctic cold, waterproofing, shock testing, products are placed in a wind tunnel for tensile and impact tests, as well as crash tests.
